Field workers encountered difficulties in efficiently managing client interactions and loan details while in the field. The manual process of recording and updating client information during face-to-face meetings posed significant challenges, leading to inefficiencies in data management.

Manual Data Collection.

The process of collecting client data during field visits was primarily manual, relying on handwritten notes or offline forms. This manual approach was time-consuming and prone to errors, as it required field workers to transcribe information into digital systems later, leading to potential inaccuracies and delays.

Real-time Data Accessibility.

Field workers lacked real-time access to critical client data while in the field, hindering their ability to make informed decisions and provide timely assistance to clients. Without immediate access to updated loan details and client information, field workers faced challenges in delivering efficient and effective service.

The Solution

To address these challenges, We have implemented a comprehensive solution leveraging Microsoft Power Platform:

1. Development of Custom Mobile App: Created a bespoke mobile application using Power Apps, empowering field workers to efficiently capture client data and loan details directly from their mobile devices. This solution enhanced data accuracy and productivity among field workers.
2. Integration with SharePoint Backend: The mobile app is seamlessly integrated with SharePoint, serving as the central repository for storing and managing client information. This integration facilitated easy access to client data for both field workers and back-office staff, ensuring streamlined data management processes.

3. SharePoint to SQL Data Synchronization: Implemented integration between SharePoint and SQL Server, enabling seamless data synchronization and transfer. This integration ensured that client data captured through the mobile app was automatically updated to SharePoint and Power Automate flow will take care of synchronization with the organization’s SQL database, providing real-time access to updated information for analysis and decision-making.
4. Utilization of Power BI Reports: Created customized reports and dashboards, including the Pipeline Planner for Finance Company using Power BI. These reports offered valuable insights into loan pipelines, client demographics, and repayment trends, empowering management with actionable data for strategic planning and resource allocation we integrated the Power BI dashboard into Power Apps using PCF (PowerApps Component Framework.
